Devin Ellis

Devin is well-known in the Northwest Indiana basketball coaching and training world. With a proven track record of success at both the collegiate and high school levels, Devin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Director of Basketball at the Hammond Sportsplex. His dedication to player development, combined with his strategic coaching skills has earned him a reputation as a top-tier coach in the area.

Before joining the Sportsplex, Devin spent five seasons as Associate Head Coach for the Indiana University Northwest Men's Basketball Team. Under his guidance, the RedHawks achieved extraordinary success, including a NAIA Tournament appearance and a CCAC Tournament Championship in 2023-24. Devin's commitment to player development and recruiting was instrumental in the RedHawks' success.

Before his time at IU Northwest, Devin served as a varsity assistant and head JV boys’ basketball coach at Andrean High School. During his tenure, Andrean captured its first-ever Indiana High School State Championship in 2019.
